When we built Flowen Meet, we made a choice. Flowen Meet runs on a fully European stack.
Audio is captured in the browser and processed by our own self-hosted transcription service. The transcript goes to Mistral, a French AI lab, for summaries and action items. The user reviews everything before it gets published. Storage is on OVH in France, with backup on Hetzner in Germany.
The European options exist. They're not exotic, they're not experimental, they're not slow. Mistral is a world-class model. OVH and Hetzner are mature infrastructure providers. The pieces are all there.
